DOT Physical Exams
RMIM is certified by the FMCSA National Registry to perform high-quality DOT exams in line with federal guidelines.
Rocky Mountain Internal Medicine is pleased to offer Department of Transportation (DOT) certification of physical exams to anyone attempting to maintain or acquire a Commercial Vehicle License (CVL). As of May 21, 2014, drivers are required to obtain their DOT physical from a certified medical examiner listed on the National Registry. Rocky Mountain Internal Medicine is certified by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to perform DOT physical exams. Commercial vehicle drivers are required to undergo a physical exam each year in order to maintain their certification, and must carry a copy of their physical exam with them while operating a commercial vehicle.
