Rocky Mountain Internal Medicine is pleased to offer certified Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations to anyone seeking to maintain or acquire a commercial vehicle license (CVL). As of May 21, 2014, drivers are required to obtain their DOT physical examination from a certified medical examiner that is listed on the National Registry. Rocky Mountain Internal Medicine is certified by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to perform DOT physical examinations. Commercial vehicle drivers are required to undergo a physical examination every year in order to keep their certification, and must carry a copy of their physical examination with them while operating a commercial vehicle. More information can be found on the FMCSA website, here.
