A Little About Me

Connie was born in Zimbabwe; transplanted to the United States more than 20 yrs ago. I earned my master’s degree and graduated as an Adult-Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to NP school, I worked as a Registered Nurse for 13 years in both long-term acute care facilities and Medical Surgical units. I am passionate about serving underserved and underrepresented communities. I believe I inherited my companionate nature from my mum who was also a registered nurse. I am a mother to two amazing kids. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends that are located all over the world.
