Nodira Karimova, MD

A Little About Me

Dr. Nodira Karimova is a native of Tajikistan and moved to the United States after the breakup of the Soviet Union. She is conversant in Spanish and Russian. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Albertson College of Idaho and obtained her Master’s degree in Nursing at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. Continuing her education, she graduated from St. Matthew’s School of Medicine in the Cayman Islands. She successfully completed her post-graduate training at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. She moved to Colorado in 1998 and has been practicing medicine with Rocky Mountain Internal Medicine since 2000. Dr. Karimova also preceptors medical students from the University of Colorado Medical School and the Rocky Vista University.Dr. Karimova is an attending physician with the HealthOne Hospitals and she follows patients at the sub-acute rehabilitation facilities. Her philosophy has been to respect others and bring harmony to the world through healing others. She is married and a mother of twins. She loves animals and enjoys history, wakeboarding, and reading.
